Julien Douvier used a type of cinematography to portray a narritive throughout her work. Subjects of work include a fair amount of animated photogrpahy, encoorporated wiht the same technique as done with cinemagraphs. In some of her pieces, rather than using a still image to mask over the background image, she uses a video took mask over the origional videos, as if two things are going on at seperate speed. It is essential however, that these two images dont overlap, as it would mean the masks would not cover the correct points in each video. I love this technique, due to the fact it means two parts of the imagery can be moving rather than just one.
