Video Animation
The idea of using video animation to portray a sense of narritive is quite possibly the best way of sending a clear message, as it enables for the same details to be repeated, whilist giving enough material to show a clear story. The process of repitition shown will help to do so. I intend to incoorporate this technique with other previously explored ideas, in order to produce an animation that shows a clear narrative within, whilist incoorporating many techniques to come up with my own unique piece of work.
Routine
After looking furthur into the work of Julien Douvier, I came across a portfolio of work named "routine", which allows for a clear representation of how peoples lives end up being so repetitive, and how it is so easy for the same patterens of movement to occur. She creates these pieces using video animation, whereby the same video is repeated many times on the same canvus.

After doing a substancial amount of research, I found that the artist had used Adobe Premier Pro in order to create this footage, however I am convinced that there is a way to create this in photoshop, using a similar technique to how the cinemagraphs were created. The way she must have done it, is by using multiple layer masks to repeat the same video over and over again. With accurate timing, this should enable the recreation of the image to be possible in photoshop.
I love the idea that is portrayed in this project, as it makes a bold statement as to how society works, and perhaps brings in Marxist ideas of how the public is brainwashed into a false conscience, whereby they repeat the same routine each day to fit in wiht societies norms and values. The picture to the right is my personal favorite, as the umbrella shows the pattern created within the walking, as well as the scafolding reflecting the blocked feeling that indiviuals may feel- as if they are trapped in the loop of the routine.
